Jeffrey Alan Hoffman is a novelist and spiritual teacher whose work explores the hidden intersections between story, spirit, and truth. For nearly twenty years, he has studied A Course in Miracles and delved into the lesser-known histories behind the world’s dominant faith traditions. His writing is less about answers than awakening—calling readers to question inherited narratives and reclaim inner knowing.
In A Different Gospel, his debut novel, Jeffrey weaves high stakes suspense, moral turbulence, and a concealed truth about the origins of Christianity into a story of destiny and remembrance. This work will speak to readers who sense that the gospel of Jesus is not a doctrine to believe, but a consciousness to live. He is developing additional works that explore the spiritual dimensions behind his fiction.
Jeffrey was an All America football player at Sacramento State and signed free agent contracts with the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. He has been a top selling mortgage broker, has worked at the highest levels of state government, has been an entrepreneur, and an award winning public speaker. He currently resides in Sacramento and teaches English to middle schoolers.
